Xpand Team Goals
We have also made it to where if you coach multiple people you can create a team goal with any of these categories so you can rally your people behind a common goal. You can also use multiple teams to create competitions, and commodore. Many times it is the environment that is going to pull the greatness out of your people. The naturally shy person will not want to pull the team down. The ego driven people will want to end up on top, and the competitive person won’t want to accomplish things last or be the odd ball out.
When creating goals for a team make sure it is displayed publicly and is updated regularly. This will drive the behaviors with “free energy” and you won’t have to feel like you are begging people as much. As a leader, work smarter not harder, and let the culture pull your people in the right direction. When people’s stats are publicly displayed it creates a natural level of accountability, because in life you don’t get participation trophies, we are rewarded based on performance.
I will go in depth more on goal categories and how to utilize those as a leader, and some use cases. Get creative with these as a coach, and if you use the Xpand platform start playing around with setting goals for yourself so you get familiar with it, and then you can set goals on the platform for others and your team.
Achievement Team Goals:
Managers are often coaching multiple people. Lots of times everyone has the same achievement. For example you are hosting a real estate mastermind on how to get investment properties. The 10 members in your group all have a goal to buy their first property and you would be able to create a team goal where by the end of the year they all get a property. It’s a Yes or No, pass or fail scenario.
Using this as a book club with your team would also be a great practice. Then you can see peoples reflections and how they are progressing through the book.
Team Quantity Goals:
This would be used when you want to collectively work towards a number or dollar amount.
Let’s say that you have a team sales goal to sell 500 units this month. You can set a team up, and divide out the percentages or units you expect each of your reps to contribute to that goal.
It would then show the reps data updating as they update it, and the teams overall progress. This automatically calls out those that aren’t contributing, and it highlights those that are putting in extra effort.
Other use cases:
- Amount of calls
- Revenue targets
- Total weight loss
- Sales volume
- Demos/Presentations
- Customer Touch Points
- Referrals
- Reviews Generated
Team Habit Goals:
To get a collective group all implementing new habits together can be really motivating. People don’t feel like they are on their own throughout the new struggles that come with adding new systems into life. Get your community, mastermind, team doing something collectively and it brings comradery and something to talk about.

You can track the consistency of these things in a group on the app and see peoples consistency. Naturally people want the longest streaks, and to not get left behind in the pack.
Set up team total numbers. This will show how many check-ins each person will have that is contributing to that total habit number. You will see progress towards it, and it gets everyone rallying behind a common habit.
